MSPCA Fred Neil Scholarship Winner: Hunter Hensel

Hunter Hensel is one of the three 2019 Fred Neil Scholarship recipients. He is currently attending the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business at Duquesne and plans to settle on a major soon. Read his full statement thanking the MSPCA members for selecting him below:

"It has been a busy time here at school, midterms week! Nevertheless, my academic plans are to continue my studies at Duquesne University until I graduate in the spring of 2022. I am currently an undecided major in the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business at Duquesne but I am planning on narrowing down on a specific major very soon, possibly supply chain management. I currently take courses such as financial accounting, business law, and management to stay on the business-oriented path. My career goal is to simply work at a company I am proud to be an employee of and work myself up in the ranks while communicating and forming relationships with people I meet from my endeavors. Activities I enjoy are playing basketball with friends, cycling, playing guitar and bass, and juggling. I enjoy creating my own instrumental songs and recently joined the juggling club at nearby Carnegie Mellon University. This scholarship holds great meaning for me as it supports me on my journey of life, granting me capabilities of expanding my knowledge and connections in the university setting."

Thank you!
